The customer

The British Chiropractic Association (BCA) is a UK professional body representing the largest network of regulated UK chiropractors.

Background to the project

BCA began a digital transformation initiative focused on improving digital engagement and modernising services for its members. By mid‑2025, the BCA had identified a potential CRM and member portal provider, subject to due diligence.

However, the discovery process highlighted significant concerns about suitability, budget alignment and long‑term fit. GetSavi was brought in to run a rapid, independent supplier selection project to help the BCA confidently choose a more suitable technology partner.

The challenge

The BCA needed to quickly and confidently pivot away from a supplier that no longer appeared to meet their needs. Their challenges included:

Our approach

  • Options and investment review: Analysed the BCA’s budget, needs and investment expectations, and identified a viable pool of alternative suppliers.
  • Revised requirements development: Reviewed discovery outputs and created a refreshed set of functional and technical requirements aligned to the BCA’s ambitions.
  • Invitation to Tender (ITT) creation: Produced a professional ITT for issue to a shortlist of selected suppliers.
  • Rapid eight‑week selection process: Ran a transparent, time‑bound process including supplier engagement, due diligence, evaluation and decision‑making.
  • Mentoring and guidance: Provided ongoing advice to the Chief Executive and Project Lead, helping them navigate complex technical decisions with confidence.

Vendor selection process

GetSavi designed and managed a transparent supplier evaluation process, ensuring vendors were assessed consistently against agreed criteria. This enabled BCA to compare options objectively and identify the solution that best aligned with its current and future needs.

The results

  • Appointment of a CRM and technology supplier that fully meets the BCA’s needs and ambitions
  • Supplier selection delivered safely within the BCA’s budget
  • Completion of the full procurement process in time for contracting before the end of 2025
